The Days for Girls Workshop space at Here and There Makers is awesome!

The workshop operates Monday to Wednesday 10am-3pm for Days for Girls production, 10am-3pm Thursday for Here and There Makers production and also on the first Saturday of every month (shop part is open every Saturday 9.30am-1pm).  HTM Workshops

 

The space is fabulously fitted out with sewing machines, overlockers, die cutters and craft equipment and also sports a comfy couch and kids' play area.

DIY Green Cleaning Workshop
Saturday August 10 10am-12pm

At Woori Community House

Learn to make your own low toxicity environmentally friendly cleaning products to use around the home. Make laundry powder, soft scrub, toilet cleaner, all-purpose spray, dusting spray, glass cleaner and wood butter. Participants are asked to BYO 5 small jars or containers to take home samples in.

Beeswax Food Wraps and Candle Making workshop
Saturday August 17 2pm-4pm

Beeswax is amazing stuff! In this workshop you will learn how to use beeswax to make your own food wraps and candles. Beeswax food wraps are a great alternative to single use plastics such as glad wrap. You can use them to wrap leftovers, sandwiches, cheese, produce and so much more. They are great for the environment, and will help save you money too. With a few simple ingredients and some everyday tools, you can make these items at home in any shape or size you like!

Women's Pyjama Pants Sewing Workshop
Friday September 13 10am-2:30pm

Join us in this class to build your sewing skills. We will be making pyjama pants with an elastic waist. This design has no outer leg side seam and tapered legs.

We will be discussing fit, including length, waist and hip measurements. The template is versatile in leg length, leg width and waist. We will be threading the elastic through a casing. There is an option to use an overlocker to finish of inner seams, however this is an optional component.

No sewing experience is required.
