We have dish swishers available as a perfect device to use this soap. Place the soap in the stainless steel cage and just swish, Rinse dishes with a little white vinegar added to the rinse water.

We make this using coconut oil which has the best properties for hard water and grease-cutting, we have added sodium bicarbonate to help soften the water so the food and grease can wash off quicker and added lemongrass and eucalyptus essential oil for their grease cutting and amazing smell. Any bar soap will not work as well as well known brands of dish liquid but in saying that there is a trick to hand washing dishes using bar soap. Rinse your dishes (everyone should rinse even if you are using dish liquid). In the old days of bar soap for dishwashing, everyone would rinse their dishes and wash greasy pots and pans last, if your pot or pan is super oily scrape out first or wipe out with newspaper.
The trick is to add a splash of vinegar to your rinse water. If you don't have dual sinks, use a tub or bucket (this can go on the garden). If your water is really oily, empty sink, wipe out and run a fresh sink, as hot as you can.
